I rode the Vespa last night for the first time in a week (it’s been in for service). I had hoped new plugs, air filter (especially this), etc would solve the intermittent stalling problem. It ran great on the long drive home across town, but stalled later in the evening. Lurking in Vespa forums makes me suspect I need a new carburetor. Has anyone dealt with this?
It’s a 2001 ET4 15occ with about 4000 miles. Previous owner admits that he put it. Has and changed the oil but did no other maintenance.

I love this dumb little thing more than I care to admit. I love that it has been crashed and dropped and bears the scars. I love having a vehicle I can slap obnoxious stickers on.

I’ve been looking to get a scooter, but I’m looking for something a little more off roady, like a Zuma or a Ruckus. I’m having trouble finding a seller who actually wants my money though.
